Features
- Weight reduction trace in g in the center part as well. Ultra lightweight design to eliminate a small amount of meat. Dimple engraved at the base of spoke of center part is lightweight technology adopted by racing wheel. Both size and depth are weight control technology applied at the end of thorough strength analysis, it will not affect strength or rigidity.
- Appearance, contents, aggressively it is aggressive. Disk is the direct design of the GT 500 racing wheel. While shaping to the extreme for weight saving, by adopting 10 spokes excelling in structural balance, we have achieved overwhelming high rigidity. The spokes are shaped to increase or decrease the side thickness for each V letter. This is also the result of striking lightness and rigidity from both sides.
- Spokes support the rim, increasing rigidity. The disk is a rim over design that extends the tip of the spoke to the rim flange. It is the aim of this design to rigidly support up to the flange portion where the stress is concentrated with the spokes and to increase the rigidity. The top surface of the casting logo carved on the rim is cutting + clear painting. There is no break in the finish.

About SSR
SSR began in 1971 in Osaka as Speed Star Wheel, and its first product was the MK-I, a three-piece wheel. The name stands for Speed Star Racing, and the brand grew out of motorsport.
Its factory team was runner-up in the 1977 All-Japan Formula 2000 championship, and a Speed Star BMW M1 won the 1979 Suzuka 500 mile. In 1991 SSR patented a semi-solid forging process. Today it is part of Tanabe and makes cast, forged and multi-piece wheels, including the Type-C Forged and GT lines.
