The Toyota Crown is a line of full-size luxury sedans by Toyota primarily aimed at the Japanese market and sold in other select Asian markets.

Introduced in 1955, it has served as the mainstream sedan from Toyota in the Japanese market throughout its existence and holds the distinction of being the longest running passenger-car nameplate affixed to any Toyota model, along with being the first Toyota vehicle to be exported to the United States in 1958. Its traditional competitors in Japan and Asia have been the Nissan Cedric/Gloria/Fuga and the Honda Legend, along with the defunct Mazda Luce, Isuzu Bellel, and Mitsubishi Debonair.

The Crown Athlete 3.5 came on 18x8 +45 wheels with 225/45R18 tyres at both ends. Without modification most owners run a staggered 19x8.5 +42 to +45 front with 19x9.5 +44 to +48 rear on 245/35R19 and 255/35R19, and the same widths and offsets also fit at 18 and 20 inches. With the car lowered, rolled fenders and some extra camber, 19x9 +35 front and 19x10 +32 to +40 rear sit right at the fender.
