Noah

The Toyota Noah is a seven or eight-seater MPV with two rear sliding doors built by Toyota and sold in Asia and Africa. A five-seater version without the third seat row is available (YY grade). Its predecessor was the Toyota LiteAce Noah. The Noah has two twin versions, named Toyota Voxy and Toyota Esquire. The Noah is exclusive to Toyota Corolla Store Japanese dealerships, the Voxy to Toyota Netz, and the Esquire to Toyopet Store. Its main competitors are the Honda StepWGN, Mazda Biante and the Nissan Serena.

The Noah's 154 hp engine takes 9.8 seconds to reach 100 km/h (60 mph) up to a top speed of 175 km/h. Its sales in Japan are enhanced by the fact that the exterior dimensions comply with the Japanese dimension regulations for compact vehicles, and the engine displacement is under 2000cc to keep the annual road tax affordable for private purchase.
