OS Giken R Series Clutch Kit

The OS Giken R Series Clutch Kits are available for specific vehicles in either a triple plate or quad plate configuration

The OS Giken R Series Clutch Kits are available for specific vehicles in either a twin plate, triple plate or quad plate configuration.  These kits were developed specifically for big turbo cars. Equipped with a center hub to greatly improve torque transmission capability.  Improved durability and heat resistance while providing mild operability.  These kits are also equipped with aluminum covers.

  • Metal Clutch Disks
  • Disk Sizes: 184mm, 204mm or 215mm

Notes

  • RX-7 (FC3S) before M/C: Balance weight [N327-11-521A], mounting bolts [8051- 27- 236] × 6 are required. 
  • RX-7 (FC3S) after M/C: Balance weight [N3Y2-11-52X], mounting bolts [8051-27-236] × 6 are required. 
  • RX-7 (FD3S): Balance weight [N3Y2-11-52X], mounting bolts [8051-27-236] × 6 are required. Please remove the cup & spring inside the master cylinder. (Refer to the instruction manual) It may cause the clutch to run out or slip. In case of R3A clutch, please cut off the head part of the weight bolt to 7.3 ~ 7.5 mm. Since the clutch cover and the transmission case may contact, minimize the interference portion. (Keep it to a minimum in order to significantly reduce the rigidity.)
